Theme Nights
Skyline restaurant hosts a number
of fantastic theme evenings throughout the year. These evenings
give you the opportunity to sample culinary delights from across
the globe, prepared by our talented catering and hospitality
trainees. The themes at past events have ranged from Scandinavian
to Seafood to an Elizabethan style banquet.
Theme evenings are created and
developed by the students and form an important part of their
coursework. These evenings give our trainees the valuable
experience they need to develop their skills and confidence as they
prepare and serve food to commercial customers. These events have
proved to be very popular and places are limited so please make your booking as soon as possible.
You will enjoy 5 or 6
courses of exquisitely presented food and we value your feedback on
taste, colour and quality. Support for the restaurant is a critical
factor in the success of our students and a realistic work
environment for our trainees is vital for assessment purposes. We
therefore hope that you will enjoy visiting the restaurant as often
as you can and thank you for contributing to the continued success
of our training programmes.

This year’s exciting
theme evening calendar has already seen a number of very successful
nights, including the grandiose Elizabethan Feast, a very special
Evening of Indulgence, a taste of the Orient at Asian Evening and a
culinary journey through the ages at 1940s–1970s night.
